Do lures work while fishing pixelmon? ›

The Strong Lure is a craftable item that can be equipped and results in a variety of increased spawns, depending on the lure used. It is a more effective version of the Weak Lure. Strong lures have a 3.0x multiplier to the spawn rate for Pokémon of the lure's type.

Lures are available in the Shop and may also be obtainable from Research tasks and leveling up. To use a Lure Module, tap on a PokéStop and select the module slot below the PokéStop description. Then, choose the type of Lure Module you'd like to install.

A way to increase shinies appearing in the wild is to use a Weak Shiny Lure for a 1.22x shiny multiplier, or a Strong Shiny Lure for a 1.73x shiny multiplier.
