Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe candidate should have demonstrated record of excellence as a teacher and mentor in philosophy. We are seeking candidates with teaching and research specialization in Philosophy of Science—candidates should be able to teach Philosophy of Science courses at the introductory and upper-division undergraduate levels. We also have a particular interest in candidates who have demonstrated competency in environmental philosophy and/or 20th century philosophy of science. Teaching duties will be introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses. Job duties will also include service work and advising and mentoring of students.

QualificationsRequirements include PhD in Philosophy at the time of appointment. The candidate also should be willing to support the mission of LUC and the goals of a Jesuit Catholic Education.
